Shawarma-lovers with a belief
Entrepreneurship is not just about business. It's about responsibility.
Why Shawarma For Good
“I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, equality and freedom for their spirits.”
Martin Luther King Jr. said this in his 1964 Nobel Prize acceptance speech. Little did he know that in 2024, more than 54 million people in the MENA region will go to bed hungry daily.
We are entrepreneurs and community builders addicted to shawarma – and Middle Eastern food! As social innovators, we have more ideas for impact projects than the sum of all shawarmas in the world. But there comes a time when we can no longer stand still.
We are bound to use our talents, networks and resources to tackle this wicked problem with what we know best: empower, inspire, and defy the status quo.
Wouldn’t it be nice if every shawarma we bite comes with the taste of freedom and the flavour of contributing to a better world?
So, if we are to feast on shawarma, let it be Shawarma For Good.
